This is still a very tough time for organized Labor. If you have been paying attention to the United Auto Workers, you can see that the Bush Administration is still up to their tricks. The media as well as the American Auto Executives are implying that the Auto industries are in trouble because of the Union. They want the Union members to open their contract and give back, which by the way, they have already done several times. However, the executives are not willing to give back anything. We have to support these Union Brothers and Sisters, and make the public aware that Union means quality, fair treatment and wages.
I would like to also thank the IBEW and CWA Bargaining teams for getting Idearc a fair contract after almost two (2) years!
