I have gotten many calls inquiring about a retirement incentive package. Thus far the Union has gotten no official notification regarding this issue. We have heard the rumors as all of you have, but nothing official has been given to us. I will be having a meeting with the Employee Placement Team this week, and will let our Business Manager and ABM's know if any information is given.
We should all log in to the HealthReform.gov website to get updates on HealthCare Reform. This website will explain why this bill needs to be passed for all Americans. Verizon is one of the few employers that offer their employees a quality healthcare plan, however we all have family and friends that are not as fortunate, and struggle with medical bills, and medical coverage. America is a great nation, and should be able to care for it's people. We all need to contact our Congressman and Senators, and let them know that they should support the HealthCare Reform Bill.
